In his first four seasons at Arkansas Mike Anderson's Razorbacks managed to stay out of trouble off the court. The arrests of Anton Beard, Jacorey Williams and Dustin Thomas last week may have shaken the fan base but it has apparently brought the remaining players on the team closer together.

As they passed out backpacks filled with school supplies at the Fayetteville Boys and Girls club the players laughed, smiled and high-fived the kids lined up in front of them.

"We're finishing up summer school and we're all tired," Junior guard Manuel Watkins said.  "But we're such a close team and we love doing this kind of stuff and it's just--we're making memories like for the rest of our lives. Like we're going to be friends until we all die, pretty much."

I spent most of my life drankin', gamblin', and chasing women, the rest I just wasted.

All 5 of the guys :/

At least the ones there looked genuinely interested and glad to be there for the kids!

Great news. Amid all the negativity from the past week, we do have some outstanding young men who are striving to do right and represent our university well.
