Gives us the best chance for a good start....not having to play catchup.  He seems to be getting better at staying out of foul trouble.  Yeah, I know, he finished tonight with 4 but still getting better.

He needs to keep starting. Thompson had some good minuted but he needs to come off the bench. Wish we had another big ready to help. But I love this team.

He brought energy from the start and stayed out of foul trouble.

I think Trey is more comfortable coming off the bench as well. Great look for us.

So much of an upside to this kid!  Not only is he more skilled, athletic, quick and energetic than Trey.  He also has an ability to excite the crowd that is needed from the tip of the ball.  We need him to be a starter in all games going forward.  Go Hogs!
SMITE ME JACKWAGONS!!!  I NEED TO BE THE -1 KING!!!

Well, if you view starters as 'putting your best foot forward' then you put your best 5 on the floor to start the game. He would certainly be in the 'Best 5'.
Need more sample size---it could have have been a coincidence for other reasons(ready to play Minn, etc) that the Hogs started the game fast.
Probably a little of both: best lineup out there, pumped up to play, both.

But I think we'll see Gafford starting from here out, regardless.

I hope Daniel can continue to focus on playing without fouling.
