Like many of you, after the TCU win I have been taking a fresh look at our remaining schedule.  We are in one dog-fight after another.  I just happened to notice we have back to back games against "bye week" teams, not to mention that Alabama has Kentucky the week before.  Just for fun, here is our remaining schedule and who our opponents play the week before and after us.

October 8             Alabama                [Kentucky/@ Tennessee]

October 15           Ole Miss                 [OFF/@ LSU]

October 22           @ Auburn              [OFF/@ Ole Miss]

October 29           OFF

November 5         Florida                    [Georgia/South Carolina]

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

The SEC Schedulers hate us.

I do like catching LSU and Miss St the week after they play Alabama, and I also like having the week off to play a Florida team who just had to play Georgia.

My guess is a few more Auburn players will have a week off to get in trouble and maybe be suspended for our game. ;D

That's one thing bad about our schedule. We also have eight straight games, concluding with those Ole Miss (home) and Auburn (road) games. It's not a great setup.

Sadly enough with their program, this is actually not a delusional thought.
