Three SEC teams made a bowl game and the NCAA men's basketball and baseball tournaments.

Arkansas, LSU, and Ole Miss.

We've had a good year all the way around.

Agreed, and things are improving. This isn't the end for any of the Hogs programs. Not to mention 5th overall in Men's NCAA Track and Field and the Women being #1.

Let's take it a step farther.

Only ONE team WON their bowl game, WON a game in the CBB tourney, and WON their Regional.

OMU is going to be a huge surprise this year.  It's going to be a surprise if their QB completes a pass.  Welcome to the SEC freezey.

They may not avg 300 yards / game.

We are the only school this academic year to   1) win a bowl game  2) Win an NCAA tourney game in hoops  and 3) advance at least one round in the NCAA Baseball tourney.

only four other schools besides us (NC ST, UCLA, Notre Dame and Oregon) won a post season game in all three sports.

Thats something worth calling the hogs over!

Is this really a pride worthy stat?  I think winning our bowl game was great, I think winning a game in the NCAA tournament was good and making it to the world series is excellent.  But them all happening in the same year doesn't make it extra special to me.  The only thing that makes it really unique is the college world series. 

Why wouldn't we add our first women's track NCAA championship to the list as well. That to me is more impressive than two of the 3 above, granted it is a sport that is not one of the big 3, I don't really follow or care too much about but it is still very impressive.

Also only university whose AD is Chairman of the Football Playoff committee.

Get off it!!! I hadn't heard this particular stat and am glad it was posted. While some might not think such as all that impressive, it's still an accomplishment that others haven't achieved so IMO there's totally nothing wrong at all with posting it.

wow...just thought it was an interesting fact to share about Razorback success in the big three sports. No other school accomplished a post season win in all three, that a noteworthy accomplishment....some people are never happy I guess and are always looking for a reason to bash..geesh

Has any school, ever, won a NC in football, men basketball, men outdoor track, and baseball in history, total, all-time? UCLA, maybe.

We have 3 of the 4. Working on CWS.
