This season has hung on the razor's edge. Long did a good job I thought, but the money talks. If we hire somebody like Leach, there could be a jailbreak of players transferring out of the program, wanting to be groomed for the NFL rather than just shooting to thrill. Just because Leach came from TTU, I hope fans don't start to fire their guns. I don't think the football program needs high voltage to get some life back in them. Just need a coach with a stiff upper lip and big balls who'll tell the team to shake a leg. If long goes back up north, I hope he feels safe in NYC and finds out who made who fire him.

Well, I've got to go give the dog a bone, so have a drink on me.
