When does this game usually get rescheduled to Friday? I have family scheduling vac. days and want to make sure it will move. Thanks all.

RagingHawgOn

I'd say there is a 99.9 percent chance it moves to Friday.

We need to get LSU back on the schedule at that time.

Not going to happen, might as well move along.

I'm sure it won't.

The SEC, television, LSU, and Texas A&M wanted their game on Thanksgiving weekend. Arkansas/LSU on Thanksgiving is weekend is never coming back. Time to move on...

It's all about TV ratings.

A & M is a better draw than us?

Yeah. Texas population is more than 10x Arkansas population.  A&M also has had more success than Arkansas lately.

That's true.  The Hogs have better luck beating LSU than Missouri.

AnM has a huge alumni base.  I would venture to say that a majority of their fans are alumni.  They also bring in a ton of $$$$$. They topped the NCAA in revenue last year ($192,608,876).

I hate the Aggies just as much as anybody but when it comes to their cult fanbase they are diehard and true.

Drew 2.77M viewers last year. Arkansas vs Mizzour that same weekend drew 2.498M. Arkansas LSU this year drew 2.351. Arkansas v Aggies drew 3.87M. Our bowl matchup had a much higher rating as well with 4.96M vs VT compared to their 3.79 vs KSU.

2015, the LSU aggie game drew 2.9M viewers while our matchup with LSU drew 3.64M. Lou v aggies drew 5.42M vs our bowl matchup with KSU drew 7.05M. Us vs Mizzou drew 2.39. Out matchup with the aggies 3.11M

2014: Ark vs Texas, 5.76, Ark Mizz, 4.4, Ark LSU 1.85, Ark aggies 4.38
atm vs wv 3.3M, LSU atm 2.9M,

2013: as bad as a year as it was for us, we played LSU and had 4.96M views though LSU aggies that year was 7.51M. Ark vs aggies 2.76M.

So, the year they changed it, it made sense to change the schedule. However, since then, Arkansas has out viewed the aggies for bowl games. Arkansas vs aggies has outdrawn LSU vs aggies. Arkansas vs LSU has been comparable to LSU vs aggies despite the less valuable weekend. Our last Ark-LSU thanksgiving match dwarfed any of the LSU-aggie thanksgiving matches.

Don't forget 2013 aTm was going to get a higher rating because of Johnny Manziel returning as a Heisman Winner. Good stats. I liked LSU the day after Thanksgiving  and we'd do our family tradition of hosting another extravagant meal during the game and it was great when it's away bc we love hosting, but had it gone back to RRS I think I would've ended that tradition every other year. Now I don't mind skipping that game w Mizzou and giving my tickets away. It worked out well for me and I think the path to the SEC championship ends on an easier note than LSU. I think long term this pays off.

Playing Mizzou is like being forced to play anyone in Little Rock, or spending time with that boring aunt and uncle as a kid.   :'(

Haha, perhaps we should just cancel.  I'm for it.  Beating Arkansas doesn't 'buy' Mizzou anything.
