Will they revisit after baseball, softball, and golf and whatever other spring/summer sports finish? Not sure if that will help or hurt us, but there's still a 1/3 of sports still participating in their season.

Are we hurt in that ranking because we do not offer mens sports that other SEC schools do? Swimming, soccer, diving...................

I'll google it for you

How is the GateHouse Media SEC All-Sports titles figured?
Points are awarded based on the number of competing teams in a sport (e.g. – 14 teams compete in SEC baseball, giving the winner 14 points, second gets 13, etc...

all regular season sports are done

QuoteWhere did AR finish men's and womens

6th in men, likely would have been in the top 3 if it wasn't for football
9th in women

Not really-
Points are awarded based on the number of competing teams in a sport (e.g. – 14 teams compete in SEC baseball, giving the winner 14 points, second gets 13, etc. Four teams compete in equestrian, awarding four points to the winner). A program's points total is divided by the total number of teams competing in the sports the school fields and that quotient ranks the teams in the final GateHouse Media standings.

Kind of misleading since the aggies mens and women's programs are the same thing...............................
If I'm going to cheer players and coaches in victory, I damn sure ought to be man enough to stand with them in defeat.

We're faring much better in the Sears Trophy, so this is sorta odd.

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

Perhaps different measurements?
