A little psycho-analysis guaranteed to hack a whole bunch of people off

Type A
UA fans who are proud of their program...know what it is...know what it is capable of....know that it is a historically important program in the upper tier.  They have no need to trash talk a lower level team that they have no intention of playing.  They either are not interested in ASU enough to worry about them at all, or they wish them well. They understand that it is truly bizarre for fans of a Sugar Bowl bound SEC program to be all freaky over a Sun Belt team they don't even play.  They are well-adjusted and the majority.

Type B
UA fans who have the typical inferiority complex common to this state.  They need a dog to kick to make themselves feel better about their program for some reason.  Trash talking is fun.  But feeling the need to trash talk a program that you will not play on the field is a sign of a mental issue...and weird.  It is okay to believe that you shouldn't play a certain team for a variety of reasons...its odd however to continue to incessantly trash talk that team after the decision is made.  They don't matter to you....or they do.  One or the other...pick.

Type C
The average ASU fan.  They like the Razorbacks....a lot.  They watch the games, they buy the shirts, they talk about the Hogs at work on Monday.  They are not stupid or disloyal to ASU, they just want the teams in their state to do well, and they enjoy SEC football.  It is no different than people I know who are combo "Arkansas/Ohio State", "Arkansas/UCA", "Arkansas/Tulsa", "Arkansas/Missouri" and "Arkansas State/USM" fans.  They are pretty well adjusted...on any given Saturday they have more than one chance to be happy.

Type D
The ASU fan trash talking the Razorbacks.  When you have a program that has struggled to win its conference and obtain a winning season it is absolutely LUDICROUS to spend most of your time agonizing about a team you don't play and cannot play.  You have better things to do. You really do.  If you are so blasted focused on anti-UA then go be an Ole Miss fan because then the trash talking will at least make some sense and you can actually get a chance for you team to play them on the field.  And by the way...not everyone who disagrees with you about some aspect of ASU sports is a "Hog in disguise".  It is either mostly about a team you don't play....or it is about your team.  One or the other...pick.

Good for ASU...hopefully this will improve their program.  I don't care when ASU loses but it's always nice to see 'em win.
