Unless Syracuse wins one more, they'll still be under .500 in conference games.

That overblown league has 12 teams above .500 on the season.

Seton Hall was 9-8 in Big East games and had 18 wins, but its RPI is out of the top 50, and the Pirates were 5-5 in their last 10.  They also had two losses to sub-100 RPI teams.

Georgetown lost four of its last six games in the regular season, has fewer top 50 wins than Seton Hall, and finished the regular season with a loss at 7-22 South Florida.  But they're 11-6 so far against the Big East, so the Hoyas are likely in.

Cincinnati had 18 wins with awesome schedule strength but wound up 8-9 against the league and 5-5 in its last 10.

I really wish the committee would punish some of these teams that ran off to the Big East in a gluttonous pursuit of faux riches.  The people who made a 16-team league should not be rewarded for it.

Georgetown and CInci should be in. However, it would be ridiculous if Seton Hall makes.  They do not deserve to be in the tournamnet.  The committee needs to quit rewarding these Big East teams.
