Remember that annual high school coaches clinic that the Razorback staff does every year, the one that coincides with the end of spring practice?

It ain't annual any more.

I hadn't really thought about it, but I remember talking with some friends at the clinic last year and commenting on how much lower the attendance was from the previous years we had been there.  We asked someone (maybe Louis Campbell, I'm not sure) and were told that Oklahoma was having their clinic at the same time.

They had a crowd, apparently. 

I'm gonna miss the Thursday night catfish dinner from the Catfish Hole.

I think what he was saying is that coaches go to where they can learn something, Nutt could give them all his info in a 5 minute phone call.

There are two different clinics. 

There was a clinic that was held in conjunction with spring football practice, and had been for many years.  There was (and I presume still is) a clinic held in conjunction with high school All-Star week this summer in Fayetteville.

As far as HDN's input, the clinic was always organized by Louis Campbell.  HDN usually gave a five-minute address on Thursday evening before turning it over to the keynote speakers.
