No matter the outcome of Missouri State's basketball trip to face the Arkansas Razorback on Monday, Deven Mitchell likely will walk away with some satisfaction.
That wasn't the case two years ago when Mitchell, limited to watching his teammates from the bench as part of season-long rehab from knee surgery, felt empty.

"Before the game I didn't do much or say much to try and get the team ready," Mitchell said, recalling Arkansas' 79-75 victory. "To be on the bench wasn't helping at all. It was frustrating."

Added teammate Dale Lamberth: "He was frustrated that night and he was frustrated that whole season.

"I'm sure glad we have him now."

Mitchell returns to Arkansas as the Bears' leader in points, rebounds and leadership.
