With tonight's win Urban and the buckeyes aren't going anywhere. Now insert Jim Harbaugh at Michigan, oh and Mark D'Antonio 24-3 the past 2 seasons. Then Wisconsin will be 8-9 win team each year. Maybe these 2 have evened up a little more. 2 conferences with some darn good coaches and players.

It's not even close. I posted Ohio State's glorious schedule from this year in another thread. Here it is again...there's absolutely no parity between the SEC and this piece of junk...They lost big to Virignia Tech who barely made it to a bowl game for Pete's sake. Want to compare this crap to our schedule? We would've won the national championship too.

The SEC will always be the best and deepest conference. There would have to be some radical shifts in population, resources, and general interest in football among populations to unseat the SEC for more than a brief period.

Other conferences can sustain 2-3 teams of elite caliber. The SEC can easily generate 4-5 elite teams in a season and still have a middle tier than can stomp the middle tier of any other conference.

Yep Big 10 has won one NC in a row that's makes it even

Myer is just taking the Sec model to the Big 10. Big guys that can run. If the rest of the league don't catch up it will be the Big One and the others.

To me Harbaugh will make that league much more legit. It's a good thing for the BIG, and college football in general.

Still don't think it will equal SEC though.
Thanks for the F Shack.

Not so fast my friend. This is the same team that struggled against Indiana, Penn State, and lost to a weak VA Tech team. Schedule was VERY lenient to them. Credit where credit is do, they beat Bama, but they didn't come close to playing Bama's schedule or have the wear and tear grind of the SEC. If they're in the SEC West they're a 2-4 loss team. Big difference when future NFL players are lined up all across the field week in week out.

Problem with the B1G is they have been so weak up and down that an undefeated tOSU would get left out of the BCS and there would be little complaints outside the rust belt.  tOSU did have a major problem at QB this year as their first stringer was told to convert to WR if he wanted to stay in the program.  2nd stringer got injuried and now the third string guy wins the playoffs.  Now having major problems at QB should derail anyone's season, but luckily for tOSU they had a forgiving early season schedule and went undefeated in the B1G.  Major props to Urban for correcting this issue.

tOSU is lucky the Big 12 didn't have a CCG or else that winner would have knocked No. 4 tOSU out of the playoffs
