Coach or coaches

I think the question boils down to whether   Pel stays and has a new set of assistanrs or whether Pel goes with the coaches The latter makes more sense since it will be hard to attract top assistants lnowing Pel is on thin ice

I really, really hope it's the latter.  Something tells me it will be the first, but Pelphrey does seem very loyal to his assistants.
