Bielema's stock outside the SEC is ok

I don't want to fire him, maybe we could sell him cheap to a BIG10 school

Illinois comes to mind ...

My real opinion is he takes at least one year off and comes back to football as a TV guy.  He can talk the talk. He just can't coach

Strangely enough, it sounds like he might be Nebraska's back up plan to Scott Frost. I have read a lot from their fans today about the possibility.

I was shocked.

A writer on Kansas City radio today discussed the impending Bill Snyder retirement, as we talked about in a previous thread. Four names are being mentioned and Bielema is one of them along with Venables, Leavitt and Sean Snyder. No way K-State hires someone without a tie to Snyder. The whole flap locally has been about Bill wanting his son to replace him, Bielema (a close friend of Sean Snyder) would be a good choice to many K-State people I know and work with.

All this talk about him getting a tv deal............

I've watched him every time he has been on as a commentator.  I watched because he was our coach.  But honestly, he wasn't very good.   His best moments were with Finebaum imo.  Other times he just looked uncomfortable to me.

I say he gets a job as a coach.  There will be a lot of openings this year and someone will take a chance that "Arkansas was just not a good fit"

I wouldn't be shocked, mainly because I heard it on the radio a couple days ago, if he ends up replacing Pete Jenkins at LSU.

He should take a year off, and let his wounds heal a bit.  Enjoy the baby, and get his life in order.  Then take a job.
