Corner Ken Webster and linebacker Detric Bing-Dukes will make their season debut against UT-Martin Saturday (11 a.m., SEC Network) at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

But how will they fit into the Rebels' defense this weekend?

The wait has been more than a year in the making for Webster. Last year, he suffered a major knee injury on the first defensive possession against Florida State on Labor Day.

The timing of his return works out well for Ole Miss because true freshman corner D.D. Bowie tore a thumb ligament, which required surgery and will keep him out against the Skyhawks.

Bing-Dukes started three games and notched 41 tackles last season. He was named the most improved defensive player during spring practice and was the starter at mike linebacker entering training camp.

But the arrest complicated things and left a door open for redshirt freshman Donta Evans, who impressed coaches during training camp, started against South Alabama and made three tackles.

Linebackers coach Bradley Dale Peveto said BIng-Dukes has a clean slate now..
