The top RB recruit at Georgia was Washaun Ealey, and he's out with an elbow injury.  Georgia has soph Richard Samuel, but behind him is tiny Carlton Thomas.  The expected starter, Caleb King, has been out with a bad hammie.  Georgia also has a top DE out for disciplinary reasons for the first two games.

NC State, which plays South Carolina, lost its top defensive player for the season.

Virginia Tech, which plays Bama, lost starting TB Darren Evans to an ACL injury.  The Tide has a starting DE out with a gunshot wound.  Still, that game might end scoreless.
