Should be a good game.

I've got Kansas and 13 points from my local gambling house.   Anyone else got anything on this one?
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Here I am again mixing misery and gin....

From what I have seen of the other BCS games, I wouldn't place a bet. Hopefully it will be a better game than the others.

CurlyTail

I've got Kansas and 10. I don't feel too good about it for some reason though.

They are, depending on when you got the line, and who from;  that's the Vegas line; sometimes you can find people dumb enough to give you more points.

Erie,
I can't decide to whom I will root. I guess I'll go with Kansas. In your opinion, which one would make our conference look better? I'm thinking a VATech win over KU would help solidfy LSU's position but it certainly doesn't seem to help us. Anyway, I know I'm overthinking this, but I am curious what you think.

I just want a good football game;  every once in a while, especially in bowl season, it is great to just cheer for football, rather than a team or conference, or what have you;   I love CFB, and hope the Orange Bowl is as entertaining as I think it has the potential to be.

I'm going to guess Va Tech 27 Kansas 13.  But this is from a guy who swore that OU would romp WVU last night so take it for what it's worth.

SpiritHog

Still hard to believe John Riggins is an announcer.  Remember how he used to do press conferences with his hands shoved down in his fatigues?

You think as much money as announcers make Alberts would fix those jacked up teeth  :D

i honestly dont think kansas will win, only team they played worth a damn they lost to.  i think kansas should of been where missouri was and vice versa.

but i could be wrong.

i still dont see how vtech is ranked 3rd.

Albert just looks like he's doing something shady. Moose on the other hand is pure class.

I've got Kansas But VT has the emotional advantage. Could get a lil crazy.

MDH

I'm thinking VT beats Kansas and beats them in convincing fashion.

I heard that, where's she at?
"If you are able, save for them a place inside of you and save one backward glance when you are leaving for the places they can no longer go.
Be not ashamed to say you loved them, though you may or may not have always. Take what they have taught you with their dying and keep it with your own.

And in that time when men decide and feel safe to call the war insane, take one moment to embrace those gentle heroes you left behind.
