my dad works for contenintial airlines. I fly free anywhere in the world, even first class, but I have to fly on standby... which in 5 years ahs never been an issue andI have never been delayed one time. if first class is empty I can have first class.

Senior FA's certainly make more than that and she's a Queen B....meaning she picks and chooses the schedules she wants due to her senority and years of service as well as the ability to opt into the SWA stock that has done quite well over the years.

Now someone finally makes a statement that has the ring of truth to it.  Why should Daniels family be allowed to buy him a car, but DMac, who has a guaranteed fortune waiting next month or two, can't buy his own car or his family can't buy one, based on that future income without violating some NCAA rule?  Maybe it's time the ACLU needs to get involved here.  Sounds like a civil rights violation to me.

They do have a Business Preferred Class or something now at SWA.  No haggling for boarding position, complimentary cocktails, extra reward points...for a $20-$30 a ticket surcharge.  I've not flown since the incorporation of this by SWA but will soon.  SWA is as sound a business, much less airline, as there is.

Keith Jackson Jr. had a Black Denali on dubs, but that wasn't in the news was it?  (Keith Jackson Jr. was black, but his dad made some money somewhere).  It isn't a racial issue, it is an amateur athlete issue. 

As to agents, an agent can hire another certified agent to work with a client.  Out of state attorneys regularly hire help in other states instead of taking the bar in each and every state they might work in.  Not being certified doesn't mean you can't work.  Who was the guy who hired the rapper to be his NFL agent?  Do you remember that one?

Seriously, I was thinking the same thing.  Other than the #1 in the country thing that is...  No Cowboys practice there, but USC did last season.  Lots of compliments about the facilities from them too.

It's foolish to think that isn't part of the equation.  Don't you see the posts on here talking about him coming from the "hood" and being a blood.  People are making race based assumptions about his parent's economic standing.  At the same time, Daniels gets a pass because his parents have money and no one asks if there is the possibility that the dealership made his dad a sweetheart deal because of the kids NFL future. 

I am a white guy.  I am 38 years old.  I HATE it when the first thing out of someones mouth to explain their woes in life is race and think people are foolish to blame that for their day to day issues.  However, I am also not naive enough to believe that if DMAC was a white kid from a modest middle class home in Little Rock, some of the questions surrounding this issue would never have been raised.  I am just a realist. 

It isn't ONLY a black/white thing and please don't think I was saying that, but you can't argue that a component of why some people smell something fishy isn't at least somewhat related to their perception of his background, character and family based upon his race.  I was merely making a quip to point out what should be obvious.

You are race baiting.  If you want to talk about socio-economic issues, I'm sure there are plenty of places on the Internet to do that.  This is an amateur athlete issue and nothing will be done to DMAC if he is found out to have done nothing wrong.  He will have legal recourse to pursue his claim.  However, if it is found that something improper was done, then your bit to point out "what should be obvious" proves you to be an idiot.  Either way, you have no proof that this is based on race at all, especially when "what should be obvious" is that he is part of an amateur atheletic organization that believes receiving extra benefits because of your ability or potential income is strictly forbidden.

used to work in their school system.. now work in bentonvilles.. if I had to give an edge, I would say 60-40 to southlake. as for as the money in the schools, bville pays better.
