There needs to be a rule against jewelry.
If I'm going to cheer players and coaches in victory, I damn sure ought to be man enough to stand with them in defeat.

I don't like individuality in team sports uniforms. Plus it could hurt someone. It isn't a part of the uniform and isn't there to identify the school or for safety reasons.

good points, but I doubt he is about to leave it in his locker or dorm room.  he probably doesn't take it off to shower.

Rolex?! C'mon Man!

That is not a Rolex if you dipped it in platinum and Heidi Klum and Bar Refaeli were making out together over it as it set. That's a usual cheap gold retirement watch. Probably some sort of statement joke like, "It's time!" Or such.
