HC Blake Anderson said A-State played better in all three phases of the game against Coastal Carolina.

Disappointed they had to settle for a couple of FG, rather than TD's, and that the defense gave up a couple of explosive plays.

Staring RB Warren Wand is 50/50 for Thursdays game against ULL in Jonseboro.

QB Justice Hansen, who was A-States leading rusher against Coastal, will run, more not less going forward. Expects Hansen will run 10-15 times per game, because  he is good at it and wants too.

Because of how they distribute the ball to their plethora of play-makers at receiver (WR, AB, and TE), anything above 150 yards in the run game is good.

Other than Warren, nothing but a few bumps and bruises, so healthy for ULL.

DT Dee Liner should be 100% for the first time this season, and with the emergence of Christian Howard, who started at DT against Coastal, the defensive front should began to come together.

Very aware that the fact A-State's explosive offense does not stay on the field very long makes life difficult for the defense, but may not be able to change that. Just not made to go slow.
