You keep bringing up a gameplan in all these threads. There is no gameplan, never was. Its always been go as fast as possible and hopefully force turnovers. There is no gameplaning other teams, we play the exact same against everyone.

Another example of low basketball IQ.. sorry it's just amazing how much y'all don't know about the game. Crazy thing is, basketball is not rocket scienece. Just let your emotion and bias go, then try again buddy.

This is what was maddening about last season.  The team had been built to change things up and throw curve balls at people.  We never saw that part of the playbook.  You’ll never convince me that had Enos just been allowed to do what he wanted, when he wanted to, they would have been so much more productive.  How and why that happened the way it did will always remain mystery.  That’s why I’m so excited about Coach Morris’ style.  Even if it’s not always successful, it’s exciting to watch.  Watching losing football is hard.  Watching losing and boring football is impossible.  That’s why there’s so much venom aimed at  the previous staff.  Boring football when unsuccessful looks like you’re not trying.

They also just kinda sucked last year.

Excellent point.

Exactly.  The scheme dictates the weight, etc.  We are going to have linemen moving about and being down field hunting people.

Uh, no..., no we are not

Agim, Smith, Guidry, Capps, Hall, Marshall, Watts all can make plays.  You have speed guys like Bell and Ramsey that you could bring on the edges.  And good lord, please get Michael Taylor on the field.  He’s one of the best athletes on the team and they’ve had him hidden under a rock.

One of the biggest things to overcome for some students is homesickness. Also the work and time constraints it takes to not only have to study more, work out more and still play a sport is so demanding some decide for whatever reasons it isn't worth it. Especially if with all that going on they are still losing more games than winning or not getting to play.

About the time I think you need a "smite", you post something like this  ;)

I got the point, and I have been making that point here for over a decade. BUT, if the football program is going to be held to some standard, in a sport that takes far more players to build a winner, than the basketball program should be held to at least the same standards.
So, I think you're saying that if we're going to do something that may well be dumb, expensive, and counterproductive in football, then we should do something dumb, expensive, and counterproductive in basketball, too.  I guess that is logical.

My guess when I read that (decided in November) he got tired of the constant losing under Bielema and doesn’t see light at end of tunnel with a new coaching staff. The reality is if this is the case with any players, the sooner the better the parting of ways....for all parties involved.

Should be “boring” not “biting”.  Clumsy thumbs on the phone.

I was so excited about Enos when hired.  I’d watched his Central Michigan wide open, multiple formation sets.  Thought that was the future. Never happened.

I thought the 2015 Enos Offense was a prelude of things to come.  I can't help but to believe that the head coach was much more involved with the offense than he led us to believe.
