That age will make him more teachable.   The maturity should give him some poise.  I am very interested in seeing this.  If he couldn't do it, he wouldn't be back in the mix, which means he already has some confidence.  Should be fun to watch.

I got pretty excited about the possibilities with the former pro baseball player that came here and was going to play WR and then he decided not to play over the summer I guess.

I am going to try to better temper my expectations this time.

I was only using Weinke as an age comparison, in that someone that old or older played baseball for several years then went back to college and played football. I was not saying he is anything like Weinke on the field.

Y'all are forgetting this guy playing for the Texas State Fightin' Armadillos in Necessary Roughness.  I think a picture is worth a thousand words in this case...
