When you recruit 2 shooters and the rest athletes

Thing got awesome under Nolan when he figured out that you could find basketball players who were both athletes and shooters.  Our best teams under Nolan were not full of just athletes.  They didn't really have many guys at all who were considered great athletes.

Nolan changed to recruiting athletes after around '96, and that's when you see the downward spiral for him begin.  I guess Mike hasn't figured out that you can't win without a team full of basketball players, rather than a team that just has an average vertical jump of 40".

What gets me is that he hasn't even tried to recruit any. I️ mean it's not like we just keep losing recruiting battles for players like that
