Have a coach in his 5th year  - with a winning record against only 1 division opponent - and still have a 14 million dollar buyout.

Give me another example of that ever happening and I will be floored.

Why don't you and JimmyJohn duke it out in a cage match thread.  Two men enter, one man leave.
That's a pretty girl.  I caught her twice.  12.5 pounds.  I hope she's still alive.

We have also fired Lou Holtz, Nolan Richardson and Bobby Petrino.  THAT WILL NEVER BE TOPPED!!!

Even better both stay caged.
Not trying to brag or make anyone jealous but I can still fit into the same pair of socks I wore in high school.

There were very solid reasons for firing Lou Holtz and Bobby Petrino!  Nolan Richardson should have been allowed to stay until he wanted to leave, IMO.

How about Kevin Sumlin?  If he loses the Auburn and MSU games, he fits all the criteria with a higher buyout.

Winning record vs. Arkansas... and that'll be it.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Well I think most agree the buyout is crazy high but the part about only having a winning record against 1 D1 school is not correct.

He also has a 67% win rate during his tenure both at Houston and at A&M. He is nothing more, nothing less than that.

Bert on the other hand was a 70% at wisc(who has retained, and added on to that since his departure besides having 3 coaches since then). While here he is at like 49%

I would be willing to hire rumlin when we can bert.

I have always liked Nolan, and still do, but he couldn't stay.  The basketball coach can't discredit other athletic programs by publicly stating black athletes in other sports have no one to confide in, so they are forced to turn to him.  He also can't blame "crazy white fans" for incidents that are committed on his property by specific individuals.  When he does, he leaves the AD will little choice.  Then to sue the University on the basis that the AD made the decision to terminate based on "racial bias?"  The same AD that hired him, and stood by him by extending his contract in the early years when many fans were calling for his head due to low win totals?  No, Nolan had to go.  He made certain of that.

VBCHog

Nolan should definetly have been fired. Not for his basketball coaching which was fine obviously. But his extremely feel sorry for myself attitude leading to bad off the court comments and decisions. He has come around lately and felt welcome in Fayettevilleand that is great and I bet he feels sorry for his actions but he had to be canned at the time

. . . and all the mouth breathers on HOGVILLE that can't figure out that CBB has had one of, if not the, hardest "strength of schedules" over those five years is just not paying attention.  NONE of those other previous Razorback coaches has had to attempt to overcome the SOS that CBB has dealt with annually.  "Keep on hatin' though!"

And if he loses all three of those games he will almost certainly be fired after this season.
