  • I'm trying to win a bet. In the late 1980's Louisville had a guard named Jay Pearson who has sensational but got hurt and the team stunk afterwards.   I can't find him in any google searches and don't want to lose money because I know I'm right.   Would appreciate some help locating him online.

  • Shouldn't be too hard. Just google the Louisville basketball roster and stats for each year. FYI I looked and he wasn't on the roster for 86-89. Good luck.

  • At no time in the 1980s or 1990s was there a  'Jay' or a 'Pearson' or a 'Jay Pearson' on the Louisville basketball roster.

There was a James Jeter in the early to mid 80s, as close a name match as is available.

Preston James Pearson played at Illinois in the 70s, and blocked a Kareem skyhook before going on to play pro footballl.

The closest time appropriate match I could find was a  Tracey Pearson who played at Sam Houston State in the late 80s.

  • His name was Jay Burson and he played for Ohio State.  Was an amazing scorer until injuries hobbled him.  Short and white but could get his shot off so quickly.  This is sent to you from Bohol Philippines where it is 8 16 in the morning.  Going to go diving in 2 hours or so
