Maybe it's me being subjective, but this team seems to progress as the season goes on.  At the beginning of the year, they had trouble with turnovers, defending the 3, conditioning, and running an offense.  They haven't fixed everything and they occasionally have relapses, but they have improved their conditioning and for the most part cut down on turnovers.  Their defense has stayed the same from last year, but they've just switched up styles.  They keep showing slow but steady improvement.

I have seen some minor improvements from the beginning of the season until the end of the season. Like in the Baylor game we finally figured out how to beat a zone even though I haven't seen that same movement in the games afterwards. But I don't know that that improvement was improvement from last year. We were sooo terrible at the beginning of the year turning the ball over 30+ times and such. So I think the improvement you have seen really was only getting us back to the level of last year. An average team that is very inconsistant.

As for the statistics above I think it is very interesting that our national scoring rank was much higher last year and that is after SEC play. We also don't see a huge jump in steals this year and I would assume our national average would only go down with the better handlers in the SEC coming up. We are also shooting the 3 a lot worse than last year. Also that we were a much better defensive rebounding team last year but a lot worse on the offensive glass.
