It's the same school that Arkansas was going to partner with at The Dallas Camp.

Here is MY OPINION on the reasoning:

We have a connection with the AnM Commerce program.  Former Defensive Assistant, Coach Mike Conrad, is now the linebacker coach at AnM Commerce.  We most likely had all the camp specifics planned out until someone threw a fit.

I'm now interested in why AnM Commerce pulled out of Dallas.  Commerce is less than two hours away from ATT Stadium.  Commerce is close to 5 hours away from Houston.

I am really interested in hearing what or who the trouble was with this Camp... I know everybody was excited for this to happen at Jerry World, I know I wanted to happen for the betterment of the Program.

I can *easily* see this being written into the rent-a-win contracts for schools in the right geo.

Lots of non-P5 and FCS schools are in major metro areas.

Hopefully there will be more details forthcoming as to why the Dallas Camp did not happen as originally planned.

But watching people jump the gun and expose their personal bias towards Our Coach, Staffand Program as supposed "Fans" has been quite entertaining. 😂🙌🏻🐗

Texas has been an area where we have traditionally recruited well and I attribute it partially to our history with the SWC and our proximity. 
What SEC schools are hosting camps in TX and where?  I really hate to lose any recruiting advantage we might currently have by NOT having a camp in North TX.....

I think he's saying there will be a camp, somewhere (houston or dallas is my guess), and no other University will be involved or that the "host" will not be a school.

The Hogs are holding a camp in Houston, Detroit, Tampa and more according to his presser with the Media today. Though a Dallas Camp is on the backburner... So, do the Coaches need to figure things out and approach this better? Yes, there is always room for improvement and yes there are some difficulties but I would not say that CBB rolled over and let A&M run the Hogs out of Texas.

But hey man... I wanted to see that camp go down at Jerry World too... Hopefully it will happen next year if the whole process is not banned.

I do feel better now that I know we're at least still holding one in Houston. I hope we can get back into Jerry World though. I was super excited about that one and think it holds the most promise considering the metro and our history there.

I don't think any other school is having a camp at Jerryworld just in Dallas.
