So far, all we've gotten is threes, and maybe one two star player.  Has Bielema given up on getting the 4 and 5 star players?  We'll never win the SEC with 3 star players.  Book it.

If we have a low miss-rate and can develop our players, then we can win it with the majority of the players being 3 star players and a few 4/5* players mixed in.

Yes I do go to games, thank you for the concern. It's pretty easy to do so when you live in Fayetteville.

I agree that a couple of the games that got away from us last year should not have been losses. Who wouldn't agree with that?

But to address your incredibly enlightening "get better Bret" comment, I do believe Bielema and the team are "getting better."

Record has improved every year under the CBB tenure...., but for someone to say we can win it with 2 & 3*'s with a few 4's tossed in, NOPE, ain't gonna happen.... CBB is great M-F and exceptional on Sat....just needs to improve in Feb.

If we can win with 3 stars and a sprinkling of 4 and 5's then we won't win it.  That is Arkansas recruiting.  It will never be consistently better.  At least not until NWA becomes a true metro area and people become aware of it.

We have JUST as much to offer as ANY SEC  town!....& more!  We are the ONLY SEC school with Ozark/Boston Mtns...VERY scenic.  In fact, some of the flat land Louisiana kids have made mention how it was the first time they had seen the mtns and how beautiful F'ville is.... WE CAN if WE BELIEVE WE CAN!!!!

We have JUST as much to offer as ANY SEC  town!....& more!  We are the ONLY SEC school with Ozark/Boston Mtns...VERY scenic.  In fact, some of the flat land Louisiana kids have made mention how it was the first time they had seen the mtns and how beautiful F'ville is.... WE CAN if WE BELIEVE WE CAN!!!!

There is no significant talent pool in OK or NE to speak of, but they get the 4's & 5's to come to those hell holes... Fayetteville AR is OFF THE CHARTS nicer than Stinkin' Lincoln or Norman....gimme a break!  for that matter, no one went to Oxford MS until Hugh Freeze said, "it's okay to go to school at Ole Miss"....  We can make it happen too if we believe we can!!!

FSU was a DOORMAT until Bobby Bowden convinced kids to go there....

I can think that 2+2=5, but it doesn't. Do you completely disregard everything that Bielema says? It's already been posted in here about how he goes for the "undersized, under recruited, etc."

To Bielema, those are the "best" guys, and that's all I need to know. I don't need some nerds who work at Rivals to tell me who the "best" players are when Bielema finds exactly who he wants.

I'll chime in here. Season ticket holder for 43 years, and have never regretted it, even during the 4-7 seasons with Danny Ford or Bielema's first two seasons, because I could see what was being built. My biggest concerns were during the Nutty years, because I knew we had a low ceiling. I do not see that now, and having been out with the coaches during recruiting in the past, I have never paid as much attention to stars, as some of you guys do. I have watched two and three stars and there is negligible difference in them and some of the four stars. The five stars stand out, but we are not going to get many of these until we win 10 games a year on a consistent basis like Bama or tOSU or cheat like Auburn and Ole Miss. I like what Bielema is doing so far this year and feel like he is recruiting to expectations. He has finally put together a staff that will stay together, for the most part for the log haul. You will always lose one or two along the way but this bunch seems to be pretty settled in, and not looking to leave every day, Rhodes, notwithstanding, but I believe he will be here until he gets a mid-major job, which probably keeps him at least a couple of years depending on our success. Then Bret can get anybody he wants. Keep your powder dry guys, trust this staff, and stop all this star gazing.
