Only 6 more days until the regular season kicks off with the Cards and Mets.

The Rolaids Relief Man of the Year usually goes to the best relief pitcher of the year.

Click here for a quick rundown of the stats that are looked at in deciding the winner of the award.

American League:  Francisco Rodriguez

National League:  Billy Wagner

NL - Billy Wagner or Brad Lide

Interesting pick with Brad Lidge.  I think Pujols ruined his career in the 2005 NLCS.

He still has the talent and arm, the question is - does his head rebound?

Mariano of course.
Free agent at the end of the year.

Saito -- NL, I had no idea the guy was over 40 years old.

Pappelbon -- AL
This year's nominee for the Coopy award.

Err, now I know it's easy to bash Shiloh Christian, but I'm pretty there aren't that many high schools in Arkansas that have a player picked in the 3rd round of the NFL Draft.
Or have you forgotten where Damian Williams played school?

Nathan and Wagner.

Not terribly difficult picks.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Im sticking with Frankie Rodriguez and Cordero...

Glad to see my 2nd prediction of Brad Lidge bombed and he is now the set up man.  Hard to believe that giving up that 1 HR to Pujols has ruined his career.
For those that picked BJ Ryan - done for the year with Tommy John on his elbow.  See ya next year BJ.

In spite of Joe Borowski having 12 saves, I hope the Indians can replace him this year - they need to if they want a shot at the WS.

i'm going to go with beckett and chad cordero

Beckett isn't a closer. Papelbon perhaps?

I'm saying Valverde and K-Rod.

I used to argue with HA about how Pel ran the basketball team.  I've since learned to like and respect him.  In fact, I'd go as far to say that HA is well connected or extremely perceptive. - Porkatarian, 11/7/12
