We always try to make sure these game threads with play-by-play are produced for those that depend on it and enjoy it and to provide a platform for great Hogville discussions. If you would like to take part in the play-by-play description (even if only for a inning or two), just speak up. I should be able to help with play by play for this game if needed, and will gladly assist someone else (or several) if they want me to. WPS!  :razorback:

I won't be able to help tonight.
I see that PoconoHog is online, hopefully he can help us to another win tonight. Go HOGS!

I could potentially do PBP tonight.  Just have to get home from work and get a couple of things done.

I like that we are every now and then giving Bonfield additional plate appearances.  I like it even more where he is hitting.  He wont hurt us there, could even help us if he gets it going.  I am pulling for him.

only five mid week games left this season and one of them in near the end of the year (Creighton).  We have two with Mississippi Valley State and two with Stephen F. Austin then its nearly a month of straight SEC.

Matheny, one of DVH's players this summer, doubles off the wall in RF.

Graham runs the count full, and he grounds out 1-3.  Runners have to hold.

Missouri state are not slouches, but Teague doesnt seem particularly sharp tonight, Or is he getting squeezed like Killian did last time out?

Johnson caught looking on a fastball.  Might have been a little low, but too close to take in that situation.  Teague's 1st K.

flippinhogmana

atta boy, James!  Good to see him bear down.  Hopefully that starts us off right, working out of that.

Fultz works the count full, and he goes down on a check swing.  Teague's 2nd K.

Burger caught looking as Teague throws a slider right down the middle.  Teague's 3rd K.

Spoon hits the first pitch hard, but right at the SS for a 6-3 groundout.

flippinhogmana

Good to see Teague have a one two three inning against all 300+ hitters after loading the bases with only one out in the first.  The come backer to him on the cleanup hitter was a big out.  It looks like it helped.  Now hogs, lets gets some hits, Luke the force is with you....

Hawkins hits a slow roller in front of the plate and just stands there long enough to be tagged out by Shaddy.
