My mom has forgotten her password on her computer (she recently upgraded to Windows 10) and has brought her computer to me to try and reset the password. Every trick I have tried has not worked. Can anyone provide guidance on how to do this?

Her username is an old email address that she hasn't used in forever and she can't remember that password and has no way to recover it. TIA

I haven't deviated from my stance on Windows 10 (see THIS THREAD)

That being said, I typed in "recover password, windows 10" into my search bar.

First result is this:

Thanks. I'll try that. Everything I Binged (I don't Google!) that I tried hasn't worked so far.
