DVH won't be here forever, fellas. Time is running out on his chances to win one

There were enough hits in both of the losses that a couple runs here and there weren't going to change the outcome. Now the games would have been closer. But watching Kentucky hit both days...they were going to make contact and solid contact at that. The fact that there were a couple of outstanding fielding plays both days kept the scores at what they ended up being. People are down on the bullpen right now but it wasn't as bad as it seemed believe it or not. Franks struggled and has struggled. Mac never looked comfortable on Sunday. Gage got put into a tough situation. But also remember the temps are rising and the ball is flying right now. Kentucky's field played like a tomb Saturday and Sunday. White's home run was solid and so was Stovall's homer. There were half a dozen balls hit that would have left Baum if we had played there by both teams. Fact of the matter is that Kentucky made better use of their hits than we did of ours. Getting two on in the first and coming away with nothing set the tone Sunday.

Is he locked in with ASU? I'd like to see him transfer to be on the bench at Arkansas

Quote from: jbcarol on Today at 01:45:30 pmI guess he likes the way Cal "used" him. Oh hell...

His Dad just wanted attention....and to make Kentucky look as bad as possible. It was NEVER about Cal.

Good Riddance...attention whores

Let his dad argue with the Arkansas fans now

So Big Z's backup?

Good luck.

This one surprises me. I look forward to Otega Oweh and him battling it out next season

Weird...I thought Kentucky fans showed Adou the love and Cal was the problem. Don't understand this...

None of this surprises me. They're his puppy dogs

There was clearly something else going on here. I don't know if it was a UK problem.. but it sure seems the issues between Cal and Adou (and in general, the rest of the team) have been overblown.

Adou isn't going to Arkansas if he had any problems with Cal. Full stop.

Could the NIL issues have maybe NOT been Cal's fault?

I never would have guessed Thiero and Z would follow CCC. Man, even faced with the cold hard facts of losing minutes to undeserving 5* pet projects, some people just can't get enough snake oil.

Tailored suits, chauffeured cars...

I think he was pissed at the other players because he wasn't going to be allowed to drive to the basket for a missed layup, without consequence. It was Cal who suggested Adou wasn't putting in the effort to get back on the court. And grateful to Cal telling him that he has a one in million chance of getting into the pros and sticking.

CCC is a helluva drug.

He clearly likes Cal enough, and also must have liked the NIL deal he had gotten. I find it odd that UK seemingly had NO chance to get him to come back, despite a great young coach, lots of NIL money, and familiarity.

Hardly anyone else wanted them and were willing to give them the playing time they were likely asking for, and Pope most likely made it clear that he would be competing for minutes

But.. then.. that's not an issue with the players, it's an issue with Cal? It's the coach who put tougher expectations on Adou.. so it still makes no sense why he'd follow him, especially because Cal still has quite a bit of talent ahead of Adou (potential talent at least).

Tyson chicken money makes a lot of things go away...

Screw Cal, Thiero, Z, and Arkansas.

Tell us how you really feel.

Quote from: Hudge_12 on Today at 07:58:09 pmPeople love to talk about us winning more games than anyone else in that time span. But who cares. 3 teams in our own division have a title in that same span and we don't. I mean some people can be content with that, but those wins don't mean squat without the big one. If we catch that pop up I guarantee you there's not a quarter of the angst that the fanbase has currently. People just feel like time is running out

You have a Mayan calendar I'm not aware of?

Sorry this is the dumbest argument in the world, oh we didn't catch a foul ball and didn't win a championship so everything we do sucks! Time is running out on what? if you die none of this matters anyway. We have an incredible team coming back next year. The more you play in Omaha the better your chances.

BREAKING: Kentucky transfer Adou Thiero, a projected first-round pick in the 2025 NBA draft, has committed to Arkansas, he told me and @DraftExpress. Started 19 games this past season for the Wildcats and becomes the fifth player to follow John Calipari from UK to Arkansas.

Who gives a hoot?  Regardless are we going to sign any players that would be starters on other SEC teams?  Does that mean we will win at least half of the SEC games when, in effect, we are playing reserves against starters?  If we do, I will be the first to admit my opinion was illogical and foolish.
