it is.

MA couldnt beat butler. butler. a 10 seed. in the 1st round.

a@m steamrolled a 2 seed. in the 2nd round. to advance to the sweet 16

happy happy joy joy.

Tennessee couldn't beat a 11 seed. Neither could TCU...Want a cookie?
Not to mention Michigan State and let's not forget Wichita State.
If one paid attention to the selection process, they would know that Butler was in line for an 8 seed but got bumped down due to the rule regarding where conference foes get sent.

He also needs another good big backup to give him a breather ever now and then.

He only averaged like 22 minutes per game! Lol

I'm wondering the same about you.

Anyone who pays close attention to sports knows you can't compare games between different teams. Every game is different. You know that...or should.

you are the imbecile comparing UofA basketball to TCU basketball to try and prove your woefully misinformed point.

Grow up. Using your logic, UCF was the national champion in football.

you tried to you use TCU's loss, who just made the tourney for the 1st time in 20 years, as some kind of justification for Uof A's 1st round exit.

Okay. You win. You know more about college basketball than most everyone.
Hooray! Now, go to bed. Oh wait...you may be out on Spring Break.
Geez.

Not at all. Hogs were a huge disappointment. Why you can't understand that I have said that is beyond me.

You failed to mention that Butler did beat Villanova. But that didn't fit your narrative. You have a lot of growing up to do.

And some of you, given the choice between said winning powerball ticket and watching your favorite movie for the 57th time, would choose the movie.

Totally false. Darnell was a big factor during the NCAA Tournament Championship run and came off of the bench frequently during the regular seaon to help Corliss underneath the basket.
factor may be the wrong term. I am more referring to his potential. He was a McDonald's all American and #1 rated center coming out of hs. He averaged 6 ppg that season. Maybe an impact but he definitely didn't meet my expectations. I really felt he could have been dominant. It was a bit frustrating watching him at times jack up 3's instead of posting up. I think I am just saying I don't think he was the impact player he could have been.

at this point in MA's tenure, how do you defend the results?

do you not know what good basketball is?

JMSU..

Or that's what it seems anyway.

We meet big, physical post players and a decent shooting guard and we're on our heels for 35 minutes of a 40 minute game.

And yet somehow, despite Billy Kennedy's genius,  we beat A&M
There roster was not full strength at that time.  Suspension s etc.

Which again demonstrates the flaws and lack of bb IQ by this staff.

Dwight "Big Dog" Stewart was the one who jacked up threes a lot. Darnell had a far bigger impact during the NCAA Tournament Championship run than he did during regular season play. His performance was very instrumental in the Hogs making it to the NCAA Title game.
