Again, pointing out flaws is not rooting against Arkansas. Clearly if people want flaws to be addressed they are fans. If they were rooting against Arkansas they would say "yay tigers" and "oh no Dusty is heating up! Don't blow this for me Dusty!"

I'm not actively rooting against the team, but really don't care if we lose or not at this point.  At least a loss to LSU would have likely put the nail in Mike's coffin, but Dusty went off and saved the game.  What's new... seems like any time we win one of the games that go like this, it's because Dusty went unconscious for a good stretch of the game.

No, just means I don't care until we get a HC that can prepare the team for every game, play defense, teach basic fundamental basketball, and hire decent assistants rather than family or friends.

If we are going to pay a coach top 30 (or whatever he is) money, i expect to be in the top 30 by year 6.

I will NEVER root against the Hogs no matter who the coach. However, that obviously doesn't mean that I will automatically give any of our coaches or staff a "free pass" when it comes to their records. While I'm not thrilled in the least with how we ended the 2016 football season, along with a total debacle at Awbarn, I can hope that a new defensive scheme along with (hopefully) higher caliber players over the past several recruiting classes can begin to have a positive impact on our future performances. I also have to consider that when it comes to football the SEC year in and year out is the top conference in the country.

Not so much the case when it comes to basketball. Quite frankly over the past 5-10 years (or longer) the only real consistently good programs have been UK and Florida. And while there have been times when other programs have had a good season or two, the key is consistency. Unfortunately the Hogs haven't been able to measure up to the teams of old. To be an "also-ran" in a generally average (at best) conference is NOT acceptable. When we have gotten to the NCAA tournament they've been pretty much disastrous and pitiful showings. Sorry, but I'm of the opinion that if we don't get it done this year CMA should be on a VERY TIGHT leash next year. In other words, you don't at least qualify for the March "dance" and show some progress toward the "big dance" you are very likely out the door.
