Pre-work supplement time frame

I thought I read where you are supposed to take pre-workout supplements for either 8 weeks or 12 weeks then quit 4 weeks before starting up again.  I'm trying to remember if it's 8 or 12.  Any ideas?

IMO, completely disregard.

Unless you start to notice your pre workout supp getting ineffective. In my personal experience my body does not build a resistance to caffeine very quickly, if at all.

What I usually do is take an entire tub of whatever supplement. Superpump, Assault, etc. Take a week off from any pre workout sups. Then buy my next tub of whatever.

I cannot think of any reason to stop taking a pre workout supplement for 4 weeks. Especially when most if not all of the contents are out of your system in under 48 hours.
