How about some of your favorite venison recipes? One of our favorites is a smoked shoulder.
Some people don't like to fool with the shoulders but this is a way to utilize them.

Mix Worcestershire, Tony Chachere's Seasoning, Tony Chachere's Herb Butter Injectable Marinade, meat tenderizer, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a bowl. Inject your shoulder at least 4 hours before you put it on the smoker. Layer the meat with bacon and onions. Baste the shoulder with the with the injectable marinade just before smoking. Put in a aluminum pan and cover with foil.

I like to leave it on the smoker for 4 to 5 hours before checking. When the meat pulls away and you can see the shoulder blade, it is ready.

Beat the most over-rated 1 seed in the history of college basketball in Gonzaga who would be a 6 seed if they played in a real conference. Then Muss's other 5 tourney wins are against an average of a 12 seed. A few dozen coaches could have done that. Two losing records in SEC play is as much as MA had in 8 years.
