He was running a spread offense then so that is what he is supposed to say. I  would love to have him as a position coach.

IMO there is a Strong chance Norvell is on this staff. Next year.

as a WR coach and recruiter; than sweet. Not at all behind the idea of a new play caller learning on the fly.

I believe he's called plays before.

I'd love to have him and comments like he made about the 10-second rule change about as often as wind direction.

How would any of us know how these two guys would get along?  CBB gets paid to figure that out.

You are right he called plays for Nebraska and UCLA. Last time was in 2007.

Sounds like a difference in philosophy...

He played at Iowa before CBB. You'd think it would be solid. I do think there's a chance Heupel come too, as I think we'll have a QB coach now.

He has coached several NFL WR's. I'm sure he will make a good impression.
