Although not a native, Lou Holtz couldn't have better captured what it was like to grow up in Arkansas during the last half of the twentieth century. 

Arkansas's deep, state-wide devotion to the Razorbacks is the Hogs' foundation.  It's what separates them from programs that, on the surface, should be better year-in-and-year out.  There aren't many programs that draw strength from the passion of an entire state, and that's what makes the Hogs special.
