QuoteBriston Guidry was a 2013 Louisiana All-State selection following his sophomore season at Archbishop Rummel High, which happened to also win its second straight state championship that year.

For his part, Guidry said he never rested on his sophomore-year laurels simply because he cares too much about the game. And he vows that, for the same reason, he'll work hard after he reports to Arkansas on May 28 for summer workouts.

"I just love the game too much to ever take off," Guidry said during an interview with SEC Country in his Kenner, La., home.

By now I rather doubt anyone should be surprised at this young man's attitude and work ethic. It pretty much mirrors the general attitude and dedication that all CBB recruits possess.

Agreed 100%. CBB aint playin' when he says he recruits "Uncommon" men. Love the culture and attitude of our beloved football program.

Looks like Jason has been down in LA with some of this year's commits, here's one on Cole Kelley.

Kelley's comments in the article are another testament to what CBB has been preaching to QB recruits. Yeah, you might have ridiculous stats playing in a Gus Bus style offense, but if you're serious about going to the NFL, then you want to play in a Pro-Style offense in college.
