Would it set off alarm bells to the site, who knows? but if all the fans of the players that have been retweeting the link auctually vote it should be hard to catch up given it has not been being turned on until sometime after 2PM daily! How do you know there's a "bot" involved?  ....and isn't there only about two hours left of voting?

  I don't know for sure, but I used spiders for about 6 years and they are very similar to bots. The main difference is that a spider is gathering info based on key words that I input and then it searches web pages looking for those specific words and when it finds them it logs the web address and any email associated with that page. I used it for finding people interested in Art Pottery and Art Glass, which I sold online for about 10 years before Ebay destroyed the online market by driving prices down.
