Auburn WR coach Kodi Burns has renewed his contract, which was set to expire on Jan. 31.

Gus Malzahn: "He's going to be at Auburn for a long time." http://www.al.com/auburnfootball

Quote"He's going to be at Auburn for a long time," Malzahn said Tuesday in Mobile, where he watched five former players during Senior Bowl practice at Ladd Peebles Stadium.

Burns joined Malzahn's staff in Feb. 2016, replacing former receivers coach Dameyune Craig, and originally signed a two-year deal worth $350,000 annually, including $250,000 in base salary and $50,000 each for endorsement rights and media and appearances.

Numbers for Burns' new deal have yet to be released by Auburn.

Burns helped coach a receiving corps that was among Auburn's best in recent memory this past season...

He has also done well in recruiting, helping the Tigers bring in an impressive haul of receiver recruits for the 2018 class.
