BTW: Bentonville has POUNDED Fayetteville the last 4 years, yes the purple dogs did win the title game by 1 point in overtime, other than that that have been Spanked.

False, I wouldn't call losing 38-34 in OT at Tiger Stadium in '10 getting spanked.

Also what's funny, Patton is 2-1 in the playoffs against Lunney at Bentonville, and Patton sucks.

Before 2001, Bentonville had ZERO football tradition.

So get off your high horse. With this second high school, Bentonville will become just like Rogers, and will field two mediocre teams.

LOL- Bentonville got so big so fast that they really don't have an Identity.  They went from Hayseed homecoming game to the biggest High school in Arkansas in a short period of time.  All That could change tonight when the votes come in.

I always appreciate posters with some knowledge and you showed that!

BTW: We need two high schools, screw football it's better for the students.

I thought the last few Fayetteville/Bentonville games have been phenomenal. I wouldn't be shocked if it's the 7A championship game for the third straight year unless the AAA figures out a way to put them both on the same side of the bracket.

I wouldn't either, and yes BHS vs FHS is becoming a big rivalry game.  What high school coach in America wouldn't LOVE to have Brandon followed up with Austin at QB.
I think Austin may be better than Brandon, and that's NO knock on Brandon..and they are Hogs...

I saw Brandon flushed out of the pocket running for his life and rifle a ball in mid stride 45 yards like a bullet down the sideline.. He never gave up, if he would have had the lines Bentonville had it would have been ugly!
