All football season all I heard was "we finally have a reason to look forward to bball season". So much for that. Oh well there's baseball

The difference between football/basketball and baseball is the baseball team has a good coaching staff and the guy at the top is very good.

This hiding behind he has a great recruiting classcoming in crap is just another excuse for this man. you could give this man M. Johnson and Larry Bird togather and he still would not win. he is a pitiful coach who can,t coach a lick.-fcj 1/22/2011

Don't do that to yourself, college ball doesn't compare to the NBA.

Expectations for basketball should be similar to those for baseball.  They aren't right now because of who our basketball coach is.  It's most important he is the coach no matter how much or little success he has.

They already beat Georgetown by 32 tonight.

NBA doesn't have the same excitement level in the gym as college, but talentwise its hard to go from watching college to NBA.

Oh you mean like the SEC Regular Season Championship.  Van Horn's team did that.  You mean like being an almost automatic entry into the postseason tourney.  Van Horn again.  You mean like multiple trips to the equivalent of the Elite 8 and Final Four.  Van Horn 4 times at Ark and 6 times overall.  He wins regularly and is vastly more successful as a coach in his sport vs Anderson in his.
