Archipelago in the Salish Sea west of Washington state. Very pretty with lots of good seafood in the area.

I enjoyed SJ as a 1-night stopover on the way to other places, but that's about it.

How much time are you spending there and what are your interests?

I enjoyed the old forts and downtown.  I would recommend taking day trips to Fajardo for the bioilluminescent bay and catamaran voyage/reef snorkel trips.
