No I am not new here.  What in the He$$ makes you think I pay enough attention to your posts to care that you have posted all year long that we don't deserve a bowl game, or that I would take note of such ridiculous idiotic posts in the first place and who in particular made the post.....  ESPECIALLY a female.

why don't you go do something else.

not everybody makes a post every time they have a thought, unfortunately some like yourself post way too often every thought, and get that number up high... WOW. you are cool, and smart, and I am very impressed that you have had nothing better to do than sit on you fat A$$ making over 1000 posts about a man's sport.  I'm over 40 and I'm a MAN.
wow, sexiest and tempermental, good combination going there good buddy, might wanna try to fix those

well bully for you.  give yourself a pat on the back.  you obviously need it.
I'm over 50 and I'm a woman - and you cant handle the fact that women love football as much as men.  That sounds like your own personal problem.  Its definitely not mine.

thank you.  its sad that some "men" still believe that we gals should be silent about things we love.  I make no bones about it - I love football and I love my razorbacks.  That's not going to change.

they dont because they don't get to play.  thats not my problem.

AND NO, i don't think Nolan is the greatest coach in AR history but don't pull out the race card as far as you know I am a black man.  I just don't think we need to go building statues and naming buildings after him.  If you're gonna build a statue make it Broyles.

And I dont know about the rest but I'm getting a good laugh at your point that only the people who PLAY football can love it/understand it.

nolan= 1 undisputed national championship
broyles= a NC that was shared w/ alabama (disputed)

therefore....nolan>broyles. End of story. Saying broyles is responsible for all the money is like saying John white is solely responsible for the 300 million walton gave UA.

So who do you think was the best, Nutt?

No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. wow try to make fun of a 16 year old boy who is a bigger man than you are, a real man respects a woman's opion as much as his own, which you clearly don't. I'm not afraid to say that I know some girls and women that know more than sports than me. I know many, many, and again many females that are bigger and better sports fans than you can ever hope to be.

incase you didn't know, women can play basketball, and a NFL team has even offered a woman a contract. I think the team was the 49's, but a team offered Mia Hamm a contract as a kicker after she showed them she could kick a 50 yard field goal and a 30 yarder with her left foot. I'd like to see you try that

When I was a kid there was:

Orange

Cotton

Now we have

Okay, I'm sorry, rant over.

But why can't it just be the Music City Bowl, Sponsored by ....................?

I dont know how old you are, but I am 37, and I remember the Bluebonnet, Hall of fame, Tangerine, Gator, Garden state.  Also, there are a few good websites that list bowls that are now defunct.  There have always been several bowls, not as many as now, but always many.
People ask me what I do in winter when there is no baseball.  I will tell you what I do. I stare out the window, and I wait for spring.

I went to school with a girl that was supposed to play football with but she had some knee problems she was good enough. She did play first base in a high school tornament for us at the Razorback tournament. Last I heard she was a basketball coach in Texas. Hell of an athlete, hell of a girl.

Ticket sales;  oddly, it does extremely well with the locals, for whom the novelty of a bowl game in Boise hasn't worn off.  As long as they show up, there will be a bowl

But without sponsor and television $ it would not be a success.  Plus, if most ticket sales come from locals, it does not do much for the local economy.  Not sure what the payout is, but it has to be at or over 2mil total, plus other expenses.

If this really bothers you, you should consider turning off the TV, and doing something else!  Heck, I like the number of teams that are involved in "post season" play, it adds spice to College Football.

Even without a playoff, College Football is the highest form of competition.

See ya

BTW, I'm pulling for LSU also!

It's not really the number of bowls, it's the dumb names they have to call them based on the sponsors now, I didn't clarify that initially.

LOL!!!    I totally agree, LSU Fan.     There are way too many bowls!   It used to be that a team was "rewarded" for having a good year.  Now...if you can just win apprx. half of your games, then bingo.....you get to go to a bowl.   About 9-10 bowls too many .....IMO.
