We have sports all year around, that's 365 days of exciting HOG SPORTS.  Baseball, Football, Basketball and Track with sold out crowds who love to see CHAMPIONS be born... You can sit here and talk up how teams like Bucknell got us last year or how Ole Miss beat us this year... we realized that and the problem is gone.  This is THE Southeastern Conference!  A place where Champions are made, and eventually an SEC team is going to get the best of another SEC team.  That's what happens when you play this conference.  The SEC has teams that are the University Heads of the state (if you don't know what this means look it up)...  it's ARKANSAS, not Arkansas State;  GEORGIA, not G-Tech; FLORIDA, not Miami or UCF; SOUTH CAROLINA and not Clemson; and one you may be familiar with TENNESSEE and not Memphis; ALABAMA not UAB; LSU not Tulane.

I like the occasional border smack talk as anyone else.

When Memphis joins a real conference and plays with the big boys, then I will listen to their argument about their W-L record.  As for football, Memphis must go undefeated to even get a sniff at a BCS game.  And I'm not even talking about the BCS Championship game.  Even the lowest tier BCS game is not a realistic possibility for MemphisI know we havent been in one, but at least we've been in the conversation before.

Yes, Cal is a great coach.  But Memphis is a "stepping stone" program.

Until they play real programs on a regular basis, SEC>whatever that conference is that Memphis plays in.
