Game slated for 6:00 p.m. Saturday at Gerald J. Ford Stadium, Dallas,Texas (ESPN3, watchESPN).

A-State (1-1) and SMU(2-1) series tied at 1-1, with both teams winning easily at their place.

A-State has won 12 of their last 13 games against teams from Texas.

14 Players on A-State roster from Texas, including 11 on 2-Deep.

Four A-State coaches from Texas: Blake Anderson, Joe Cauthen,  Allen Johnson and Trooper Taylor.

A-State is healthy for game, with only backup CB Brandon Byner expected to miss. DT Dee Liner is reportedly healthy after a hamstring injury in fall camp( did play a few snaps against Nebraska, and was effective), and will play.

Teams evenly matched according to Jeff Sagaran ratings with SMU at #88, and A-State at # 87.

SMU, coming off two hard fought contest against regional rivals (UNT and TCU), is reportedly healthy for the game.
