In my opinion he doesn't deserve praise for that. I was a big supporter of the Enos hiring. Musk was about the only one who wasn't. But a series of decisions by Sam destined this to be a bad hire.

The bright side is due to all of these screw ups by Sam, it should coz him to leave CBP alone. Or that is the best we can hope for.

I hope that last year was a sobering reality for Sam Pittman. I know he hated losing like that. With the hiring of Petrino and practice videos of him going hands on and coaching the Oline leads me believe he is going into 2024 with a something to prove attitude. If we have another really bad year, his seat will be on fire, and I am sure he knows that. I expect a remarkable improvement in the team this fall.

I honestly wasn't trying to be snarky about the roster in April. But I appreciate the posts about the roster.

I was just thinking this was a first in terms of replacing scholarship players.

It made me think of the time HDN held campus tryouts and welcomed an intramural QB to play on Saturday. I think I attended that game, and while the QB had some moments, I don't think it turned out very well.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Edit: Having one 5 star, Top 100 player so far who is not from Arkansas is a pretty big deal.

My son is 13 and plays AAU ball here in DFW.  Many times there will be a team from Little Rock in the field it seems in each age bracket during the summer tournaments.  Almost all of them are very very good. We played against a Little Rock squad in one last summer and got destroyed.  I don't remember what the team was but I know they came down from Little Rock, and I'm pretty sure they weren't part of the Arkansas Wings program.

From the official rules I listed above 5 to start the game if a team gets down to 1 player the refs can stop the game if one team has no chance of winning.
