Ray Tanner: "We are not 100 percent sure that we will have a game at Williams-Brice at this time." Final decision in 24-36 hours

Williams-Brice Stadium did not suffer any major damage, but potential issues with hosting the game include water service to the city, availability of police and first responders who normally help work home football games and access to all parts of the city, Tanner told The State.

Fans have also had trouble finding hotel rooms as a result of evacuees being forced from their houses.

Officials have reached out to the NFL's Carolina Panthers about possibly playing the game at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C.

The morning "SEC Nation" broadcast originally scheduled for Columbia, S.C., on Saturday has already been moved to Knoxville, Tenn., the SEC Network announced Tuesday.

LSU's initially scheduled season opener Sept. 5 against McNeese State was ultimately cancelled after four hours of weather delays...

You'd think under these exigent type circumstances the Gamecocks could be allowed to host recruits and take them to LSU since there were probably several scheduled to be in attendance in Columbia. But that makes sense and the NCAA is not apt to apply "one off" exceptions when mother nature impacts the home teams ability to be the home team.
