Ha.  I once met Jay Crane (I was only 11 or so, at the time) and thought he was Joe Kleine.  I was giddy to meet him, shake his hand, and get his autograph...until walking away realizing the name signed was not Joe's.

definitely different era.....I remember listen to my Fresno St. Bulldogs play in Grant's Tomb (Boyd Grant was the coach at the time) and the games would be 41-38 or something like that.  Our big game was against Tark's Running Rebels, because we were in the same conference.

I remember them dearly.  I know that the game has now changed across the National Basketball scene, but there was a time when most everyone played the slower version, (no shot clock).  Suttons teams were a thing of beauty on defense, with players like the triplets and then Walker and Robertson together as a tandem, man, those teams could hold the ball forever on offense and steal it on defense or just make you turn it over.  And what great matchups to watch as has been brought out when there was that isolation so long on big vs. big and such.  Kliene, Hastings, Shaw, we had some good ones.

If only Sutton had known what a power forward was...that's my memory.

Had Kenny blocked out on a 'Nova miss late in the game in 1984, the Hogs could have won that game. But instead, lost 58-54. Oh well.....he could play.

I remember when he and William Mills got kicked off the team. I was devastated.

great handles. couldnt shoot the j. basically kareem reid before kareem reid.
I don't hate the guy.  He's a great Hog, and a needed contributor.  I despise that he does not understand his role as a complimentary player puts an absolute ceiling on this team.

Not as much as I remember Klein and Olajuwan.

Arkansas was playing at Houston one season and Kenny was bringing the ball up the court when 2 Cougars defenders double teamed him near mid-court. He made 2 or 3 of the most amazing basketball moves that I have ever seen, to this day, in leaving those 2 other guys laying on the floor wondering what happened.  He was a great ball handler.
